Galactic Snacks is not responsible for weather related damage or delays. This includes perishable goods that can melt such as chocolate or gummy candy. Purchasing perishable goods from our shop is at your discretion. We will not refund or replace items that have melted or otherwise altered their state as a result of extreme heat or cold.
Galactic Snacks packs and ships all orders from Massachusetts. While our facility is climate controlled, delivery trucks are not. The same goes for the porch or mailbox where the delivery driver is going to leave your order. On a hot summer day, this can lead to less than desirable conditions for your snacks.
While we pack heat-sensitive items in Cool Shield envelopes during warmer months, there is only so much they can do to prevent items such as chocolate and gummy candy from melting or deforming while sitting in extreme heat. While this typically will not affect the flavor, it can alter the aesthetic qualities of the products we carry.
Galactic Snacks provides free package tracking with every order. If you live in a warm climate, we recommend shipping to a location where you will be able to pick up your package as soon as it is delivered.
We do not offer refunds or credit for any snacks that arrive melted, so please exercise discretion during warmer months.
